When the same fact could sit on three different pages, it usually belongs on one. This page settles the common cases so entries do not drift or get duplicated.

The general rule

Write a fact where a reader would go looking for it, and link to it from everywhere else.

A detail about the Eyearke Stone lives on Eyearke Stone. Reagan Hideaway mentions that she carried it and links there. It does not re-explain what the stone is.

Common cases

A character's power
The mechanics go on the power or artifact page. How that character uses it goes on their page.
A place a character lives
Described on the place's page. The character's page says they live there, and links.
An animal companion
Its own page if it has a name and does things: Mauz, Egras, Aloeissa. Otherwise a line on its owner's page.
A creature species
One page for the species, in Bestiary. Named individuals link back to it.
Something that happens in one chapter
The character's Story section, and the location's page only if the place itself is changed by it.
How you decided to write something
Behind the scenes, at the foot of the article. Never in the main text.

When two things share a name

Heart of the Kella is a cavern, a necklace, and a short story. When a name is genuinely ambiguous, the plain title becomes a short page listing the options, and each real article gets a clarifying title in brackets.
